Idiom Calendar

This calendar was themed around idioms. The idea was to use idioms with numbers according to the number of the month. To keep focus on the idiom of the page, the numbers are colored. Red and gold were chosen in the color scheme due to their vibrance and ability to catch the eye more quickly.

The final product featured in the above left photo sports a "window" cut into the cover to reveal a textured royal red exposing the title of the calendar.

The idioms were carefully placed into a grid and using kerning and tracking tools in Adobe InDesign, they were locked into the perfect position.
